Look Up And Sing

Requirements:

  • Young artists ages 13+ are encouraged to register, or by invitation.

  • Registered artists are encouraged to bring a water bottle, and wear shoes and clothing that allow them to move freely and comfortably.

Location: The ensemble will meet and rehearse at 2954 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport CT 06605.

A confirmation email will be sent prior to each session with additional details.

Dates + Times: Each session will start at 12:30pm and run until 2:30pm

If you are registering more than one participant you will need to register them with separate orders.

Musical Theater Workshops

This musical theatre workshop offers an immersive experience in musical theatre storytelling, combining singing and dancing. Students of all skill levels will enhance their vocal techniques, master energetic choreography, and collaborate on creative narratives. Under the expert guidance of seasoned musical theatre professionals, participants will explore various styles of musical theatre in a dynamic setting. Each class introduces new songs and material, making it ideal for repeat enrollment!

Teaching Artists

Ryan McCurdy  is a multi-disciplinary Actor-Musician, Writer, and Producer who has worked across the United States. As an Actor-Musician and Music Director/Supervisor, he has worked with Manhattan Theatre Club, Rattlestick Playwrights, Second Stage, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and Center Stage Baltimore, among others. Ryan is a performer who is equally at home in his appearances on Broadway stages, concert halls including NYC’s Town Hall, City Winery, rock clubs like The Bitter End and Mercury Lounge. He is a multi-instrumentalist, Music Director, composer, teacher and proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. 

Stephanie Scherr is a director/choreographer who has directed in theaters and performing arts institutions all over the country from Alaska Theatre of Youth and New Hampshire Institute of Art to Ferndale Repertory Theatre in California, Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca and SecondStory Repertory and Artswest in Seattle among others. She has also directed for many performing arts summer camps across the northeast corridor.
